Spot the frog!!
Our guide was very good at educating us in local uses of the vegetation as well as on different flora and fauna.
We walked to oxbow Lake to spot giant otters.
We were not successful but did get to see a

black Caiman (Crocodilian Family) and a huge family
of squirrel monkeys.

Once arriving back at the lodge we were welcomed by a Macaw that had been rescued from the black market and now spends it’s days hanging around Explorers inn.

That night we did some more spotlighting on the way to a canoe ride to go Caiman hunting (where we spotted about 15 spectacled Caiman!) and found this ‘small’ tarantula.
Your postcard arrived OK Lin - many thanks. I reckon the frog may be the brown slimy looking thing in the left corner? Or more likely the jumble of stuff in the centre of the pic. lots of love Marg

(Hils again) OK that spider was the 'things that nightmares are made of' hope that didn't find it's way into your sleeping bag. Monkeys were very cool.
