After a day of airports and planes we finally arrived in Puno to take a 2 day tour of Lake Titicaca. We nearly didn’t make it though as the airport at Lake Titicaca was closed due to bad weather and just as we were starting to disembark the aircraft they found out that it had opened and so off we set!
Upon arrival in Puno we madly rushed around in the rain buying groceries as presents for our host family, ate dinner and packed before collapsing in our very nice hotel.
We have been unable to get on internet very well (due to the storm taking down a lot of services) and have taken a while uploading this blog so have not had time to email.
We are now heading to the islands so will try to touch base tomorrow night.

I would have swam in Lake Titikaka if we had time...and some swimmers (didn´t think the locals would appreciate me in my knickers.) Oh and there is the fact that we didn´t see a tyre (no cars on the islands)...we are very well thank you for asking :) oxoxoxoxo
