Car, Plane, bus, boat…jungle

Late into Cusco and up very early the next day to Skype (beehive photo).

We then caught a flight to Puerto Maldonado and

Explorers Inn (the last part by boat/canoe).

In the canoe Bill spotted two capybara, hiding on the river bank (the photo is of one of them).

The inn is the only lodge in Tambopata Nature reserve and our guides were all naturalists.
We ended the day with a spotlight walk with our guide.
