Day 2 - Dead Womans Pass!

Day 2 on the trek and already our muscles are a little sore from the inclines and declines but today was to be the most arduous. Below is a picture of our porters 24 in all...lugging all our goods and shackles!
The stairs were to be seen to be believed and they were not just up and down they were up up up...
until you got sick of going up then down down down. Mum and I were very glad to have brought our poles as they were very useful and our knees came out shining! Dad was fine without...if he had pain he didn´t show it! The first pass was 4200 metres and our lungs certainly felt it...huffing and puffing we were. Every pass or ruin we reached Jose´would high five us.

The mountains were beautiful and clouds would come wafting past us and below us. We tackled 2 passes in one day...the second about 3800m.

Steps steps and more steps!
We settled in for the night at about 3700m (Very cold, but our sleeping bags were fantastic!)
