After starting off late (we were told to be ready at 5:00 and were picked up at 5:45) we travelled by bus for a couple of hours to KLM 82 for Breakfast. Our Porters had prepared breakfast and set up a table and chairs for us to sit at to eat! We felt like royalty...and that didn´t change the entire time.
Our first experince of Inka ruins on the Trek was a rest stop at Q´Anabamba. Our guide, Jose was very knowledgable in the Inkan culture and we stopped many times for `education´. We stopped for the night at our first camp site (3700m) that had already been set up for us by our porters, exhausted from a days hard trek and nervous about the next day...
