Eungella means up in the clouds and with the weather we have had it sure was! There were several places to stop to see the apparently brilliant views but we were flat out seeing 10 metres in front of us! The weather (wet and cold) didn't stop us from having another brilliant day!

The Platypus feeds early morning and late afternoon and all day on wet days so we were lucky to turn up check in and as soon as we got to the viewing platform saw a platypus many times surface while feeding. There were also several turtles and at one stage the playpus and turtle had a stand off!

After our walk (luckily no leeches) we went back to our cosy log fire cabin for board games and stories.

We have no photos of the end of the day though as I didn't tale my camera to dinner :( We finished the day with a delicious dinner and watched the:- Possums, Bat and Snake waiting for a feed!
I am so jealous that you saw Platypus - we didn't see any when we were there. However, I am thrilled that the girls got such a good view of them.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe that you are getting cold and wet weather, we are zizzling here in 40 degree heat!!!
