Day 4 - Can´t believe we were at Machu Picchu!!

Up early (3:45) for a quick breakfast before racing to line up at the check point (to be one of the first groups to the sungate -IntiPunku). We stayed here for a while to watch the sun come down on Machu Picchu and take in it´s awe.

Had to have the manditory Toyota shot from the top of Machu Picchu!

Jose´then took us on a 2 hour tour of the site where we learnt more interesting facts about MP.



We then had a couple of hours to explore the ruins ourselves before we made our way down to Agua Calientes. There were llamas grazing all over MP (I am sure just for tourist photo value!)






After we said our good byes to the rest of our tour group we made our way to our beautiful hotel in Agua Calientes - This is the view from our balcony!
