Had an hour or so spare because it was still a little too cool in the am to swim in the hotel pool so made bead necklaces instead.
We then jumped in the trusty car again - on the road to Bowen. Saw a camel so Chasely drew one - I think it is a pretty good job!
Mandatory photo infront of the big mango! Mango Sorbet is the bomb!
Much to our delight the beach right infront of the tourist park that we are staying in is full of beautiful shells so spent an hour or so creating sandcastles and collecting shells. More of this will be done tomorrow!
It was then to Steve and Clares (Steve used to work with Dugald) for a meet and greet of all of their animals! To say Slade was in her element is an understatement!
There were:- Quails, Parrots, Chickens, Roosters, Chicks, Finches, Goats and Mealie worms - Slade played with/patted/cuddled chased them all!

Fantastic drawing of a camel Chasely. We haven't seen any here but they are selling plenty of camel ornaments in the bazaars.
